PEDEC in Brief

Established in 1994, Petroleum Engineering and Development Company recruited the most experienced and efficient workforce engaged in National Iranian Oil Company to pursue it’s primarily objective of developing a number of new hydrocarbon fields as well as some major on stream fields located in southern oil regions.

Since establishment, PEDEC has managed to add over 500 thousand barrels a day of oil to the production capacity of Iran.

Over 500 million barrels of oil, gas and condensate production rise of Iran is indebted to the implementation of development plans executed by Petroleum Engineering and Development Company.

PEDEC managers and experts are determined to foster production rate of the country by 1 billion barrels of oil, gas and condensate by the end of 2015.

- Overseeing the implementation of all engineering and development plans in the framework of design, engineering, construction as well as implementation of activities executed at onshore and offshore oil and gas sector within NIOC.
- Managing human resource to provide expert staff from inside the oil industry and to recruit and train young and well-educated personnel.
