PEDEC signs Deal for Manufacturing Electropumps of Goreh- Jask Oil Pipeline project with Iranian firms

TEHRAN (PEDEC)- Touraj Dehghani the CEO of  PEDEC signed  three contracts of manufacturing Electropumps with three Iranian Companies in a ceremony on Monday  as Iran Oil Minister Bijan Zangeneh and CEO of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) attended in this Ceremony as well.

According to Petroleum Engineering and Development Company, these contracts are aimed at manufacturing 50 Electropumps and maintaining them for a five- year period.

Mr. Zangeneh addressing  the ceremony and stated  the project would transform the region as various oil storage facilities, export jetties, wave breakers and single buoy mooring systems would be built in Jask.

The project includes construction of approximately 1,000 kilometers of 42-inch pipelines, five pumping stations, measuring and monitoring equipment, construction of storage tanks and export jetties.

The CEO of National Iranian Oil Company Masoud Karbasian said that for construction of each section of the project many jobs would be created in the country, besides tapping the potentialities of domestic producers.

The estimated credit amount of Goreh- Jask Oil Pipeline Project is $1.8b Dehghani said,  mentioning the aim and significance of this national and strategic project.

Petroleum Engineering and Development Company had signed a BOT (Build–operate–transfer) contract with a domestic firm for construction of 10-million-barrel crude oil storage tanks last year.
