Development Plan of Anaran Block Field (Changuleh and Azar Oilfields)

Objectives

(It is considered for two fields)

-        Azar field: daily production of 65 thousand barrels of oil in two phases

-        Changuleh field: reservoir description as well as early production of 10 thousand barrels a day of crude oil

 

Location

Anarn block is located in the cape of Zaoros Mountains and stretches along Iran-Iraq border, southwest of Illam province between Mehran and Dehloran cities.

 

Major Contractors and Consultants

The buy-back contract of the project, signed with foreign contractors in August 2008, has turned into an independent development plan using local sources. However, negotiations with foreign firms are underway to invest in the DP of the fields. Current active contractors of the project are: Mohit Andish Paidar, Petro Pars Zagros, Morvarid Kavir Kuh, Tehran Raimand, Royan, National Drilling Company, Global Petro Tak and Margh.

 

Executive Activities 

Land procurement, demining, environmental study, provision of Master Development Plan of the fields, drilling of 15 production wells and a disposal well, construction of cellar area and access roads to the 15 production wells as well as construction of residential camp are the executive activities being implemented at Azar field.

Construction of Telecom systems, Power plant, power transmission lines and industrial buildings as well as construction of oil and gas transmission pipelines and flow pipeline, constriction of a pipeline to transmit effluent to an injection well and construction of a production unit for oil processing are among the activities to be considered as job description for Azar field development.
