TEHRAN (PEDEC)-The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) issued a decree appointing Abouzar Sharifi as the CEO and full member of the board of Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC). Mohsen Khojastehmehr issued the decree addressing Mr. Sharifi on Wednesday emphasizing the following issues: Making special effort in complementation of half-finished developmental plans especially West Karoun joint Oilfields, determining next phases of developmental plans and resolving contract  issues with contractors, management development, cost engineering implementation, cost control and improving productivity, standing against corruption, and improving the process of company by enhancing transparency, amplifying technical, legal and expert capacities by appointing competent and efficient managers and executive directors, improving the level of education in technical and skills issues through the organization, maximizing share of  Iranian capacities in implementation of developmental plans, enhancing the quality standards and safety, implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Plans along with beneficiaries preservation and decrease in irrelevant cost to the mission of company. Mr.Khojastehmehr wished prosperity for Mr.Sharifi in his new post and tasks that he has been entrusted with.
